Securing third party cyber risk and compliance for Technology Companies

Growth in technology depends on trusted vendors and solid compliance. Cynapze monitors your third-party cyber risk continuously, so compliance never slows down innovation.

The challenge

Where third-party risk catches technology companies off guard

01

Your stack is somebody else's stack too

Cloud providers, APIs, open-source dependencies and infrastructure vendors sit inside your product. A weakness in any one becomes a weakness in what you ship.

02

Security reviews can't keep pace with release cycles

Vendors and dependencies change every sprint, but most reviews happen yearly, leaving long windows where nobody tracks what changed.

03

Every enterprise deal comes with a security questionnaire

Closing a contract means proving your posture and your vendors' at once, often on a deadline a manual process can't meet.

04

A growing vendor list with no consistent oversight

As the product grows, subprocessors and infrastructure partners get added faster than security or procurement can formally track.

05

No way to tell which vendor actually matters

A logging tool and a payment processor don't carry the same risk, but without a way to compare them both get the same attention, or none.

06

Compliance evidence scattered across tools and tickets

Certifications, results and remediation history live in disconnected systems, making ISO 27001 or SOC 2 evidence slower than it should be.

The solution

One platform for technology & SaaS companies third-party risk management

Step 01 of 04

Daily Vendor Monitoring

Vendor portfolio: every monitored vendor with security score, business criticality, type and status

Monitor each vendor across 10 risk categories, from application security to DNS health, with scores refreshed daily as your stack evolves.

Keep cloud providers, infrastructure partners and software vendors in one register, auto-detected and classified from detected to managed.

Map what sits behind your vendors and how they interconnect, so a weakness a layer down surfaces before your next customer review.

Compare vendors against your full portfolio to see which ones pull your overall exposure in the wrong direction.

Step 02 of 04

Faster Vendor Onboarding

Adding a vendor: AI-detected third and fourth parties, then a business criticality suggested from peer benchmarks

Send questionnaires aligned to NIS2, ISO 27001 and SOC 2, reusable for every new vendor.

Assess a vendor once, then project the result onto every framework a buyer asks about.

Let vendors respond through a single link, so adding an infrastructure partner doesn't stall procurement.

Turn a flagged gap into a remediation task with an owner and a deadline, tracked until resolved.

Step 03 of 04

Risk Mapped to Product Impact

Risk matrix: vendors by business criticality and security rating, from safer to riskier

Combine each vendor's grade with how critical they are to your product, so a logging tool and your auth provider aren't reviewed with the same urgency.

Match emerging threats against your stack, with intelligence from European and global authorities, to know who is affected within hours.

Get notified when a vendor tied to a critical system drops a grade, or when a provider you share with others is affected.

Open one view of the vendors combining weak security with high product impact, the ones to look at first.

Step 04 of 04

One Register, Every Dependency

Frameworks readiness matrix for your vendors across DORA, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, NIST CSF and SOC 2

Generate reports mapped to NIS2, ISO 27001 and SOC 2, ready for a prospect's security team or your leadership.

Track compliance readiness from a single control set projected across every framework.

Centralize certifications and attestations, with expiry tracking so nothing falls out of date.

Give auditors or enterprise customers scoped access, and keep a full history of assessments and remediation for due diligence.

Built for technology teams that need to prove vendor security without slowing down product velocity.

Outcomes

A vendor risk program that moves as fast as your product does

Cynapze gives technology teams one place to monitor, assess and document the security of everything their product depends on.

Built for SaaS & technology companiesAdapts to your regulatory realityInsights from day one
1

Full vendor visibility

From cloud providers to infrastructure partners, one continuously updated view of what your product depends on, including fourth parties.

2

Issues caught before customers ask

Daily score refreshes mean a dropped grade reaches your team within a day, not during a customer's next security review.

3

A bigger program, not a bigger team

Send questionnaires, track responses and manage remediation across every vendor from a single platform.

4

Due diligence in a few clicks

Pull NIS2 and ISO 27001-aligned reports straight from your vendor data whenever a deal or an audit calls for evidence.

5

Faster & smarter risk prioritization

Combine vendor security scores with product criticality to know which dependencies deserve attention first.

What is Cynapze?
Cynapze is a third-party risk management platform. It helps organizations monitor, assess, and document the cybersecurity posture of their vendors and suppliers, all from one place.
Who is Cynapze built for?
Cynapze is built for organizations that need to manage vendor risk at scale, from security teams and risk officers to finance leaders who need visibility without becoming security experts.
How is Cynapze different from a spreadsheet or a manual review process?
Manual processes go stale the moment they're finished. Cynapze replaces static, point-in-time reviews with continuous monitoring, structured assessments, and a single record of every vendor's risk over time.
Do I need a security background to use Cynapze?
No. The platform is designed for both technical and non-technical roles, with role-based views that adapt to what each person on your team actually needs to see.
Can Cynapze scale with my vendor portfolio as it grows?
Yes. Whether you're managing a handful of vendors or several dozen, Cynapze is built to add vendors, assign criticality, and track risk without the process breaking down as your portfolio grows.
How long does it take to get started?
After creating your account, a guided setup walks you through completing your company profile, inviting team members, and adding your first vendors. Every step can be skipped and resumed later.
What do I need to add a vendor?
Just the vendor's name and domain to begin monitoring. From there, you can assign criticality, send assessment questionnaires, and build out their full risk profile over time.
Can I invite my team to use the platform?
Yes. Company admins can invite team members and assign them roles that determine what they can see and do within the platform.
What happens after I add a vendor?
Once a vendor is added, you can choose to actively manage them, which triggers ongoing monitoring, lets you send assessment questionnaires, and allows you to track remediation plans tied to their risk profile.
How do I get help if I run into an issue?
A help center with searchable articles and contextual guidance is available directly in the platform, alongside a contact form for direct support requests.
What subscription tiers does Cynapze offer?
Four tiers: Freemium, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each tier increases the number of vendors you can actively manage and the depth and frequency of monitoring data available.
How many vendors can I manage on each tier?
Freemium does not include active vendor management. Silver supports up to 10 managed vendors, Gold up to 25, and Platinum up to 50.
Is there a free trial?
Cynapze does not currently offer a time-limited free trial. The Freemium tier lets you explore the platform with a one-time vendor score, without an ongoing subscription.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed annually. Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately, with the price difference prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Subscription cancellation is handled by our support team rather than through self-service. Reach out and we'll take care of it.
Does Cynapze help with NIS2 compliance?
Yes. Cynapze includes questionnaire templates aligned to NIS2 requirements and gives you the continuous monitoring, documentation, and audit trail needed to demonstrate supplier oversight.
Does Cynapze help with DORA compliance?
Yes. Cynapze covers the ICT third-party risk management pillar of DORA, with continuous monitoring of ICT providers, structured due diligence, and reporting aligned to DORA's documentation expectations.
Does Cynapze cover GDPR requirements?
Cynapze helps you monitor and document the security posture of vendors processing personal data on your behalf, supporting the due diligence expectations under Article 28. It is not a full GDPR compliance management tool.
Can I generate compliance reports directly from Cynapze?
Yes. You can generate reports from your vendor data aligned to the frameworks you work with, ready to share with auditors, regulators, or your own leadership.
Does Cynapze automatically map my vendor data to specific regulatory controls?
Not automatically. Cynapze gives you the structured data, documentation, and audit trail that support your compliance work, but framework-to-control mapping is not an automated feature in the current version.
Where is my data hosted?
Your data is hosted on a SecNumCloud sovereign cloud, the qualification issued by ANSSI, the French national cybersecurity agency, with no dependency on US cloud providers. This reflects a deliberate choice to support data sovereignty for European organizations.
Is Cynapze built with European compliance standards in mind?
Yes. The platform's hosting and infrastructure choices are built around European digital sovereignty principles, reflecting the regulatory environment our customers operate in.
Is my company's data isolated from other Cynapze customers?
Yes. Cynapze is a multi-tenant platform with strict data isolation between companies. Each organization only has access to its own data and the vendors it manages.
Who can see my vendor risk data inside my organization?
Access is role-based. Company admins control which roles can see what, including detailed technical findings, so sensitive data stays restricted to the people who need it.
Where does Cynapze get its security data from?
Cynapze integrates with SecurityScorecard, an established security ratings provider, as its data source. Cynapze adds the layer on top: vendor categorization, risk prioritization, questionnaires, remediation tracking, and reporting.
