Secure your retail supply chain on every surface level

Retailers run on customer data and vendor relationships. Cynapze secures both by giving you full visibility over your third-party cyber risk to safeguard your reputation.

The challenge

Where traditional TPRM falls short for Retail Companies

01

Breach at a vendor, crisis for your brand

A single compromised supplier can expose customer data, halt operations and trigger regulatory scrutiny, and most retailers find out after the damage is done.

02

Scale that manual processes can't absorb

Dozens of logistics partners, seasonal suppliers and payment processors, each with its own risk profile, can't be run on emails and spreadsheets without something slipping.

03

High-value targets, low visibility

Massive payment flows and sprawling supplier networks make retail a top target for ransomware and supply chain attacks, with exposure that stays hidden until it's too late.

04

No way to separate critical from low-risk vendors

Without cross-referencing security scores with criticality, teams spend as much time on a packaging supplier as on a payment processor.

05

The gap between two assessments

Vendors move fast: onboarded, renegotiated, replaced. Annual reviews capture a landscape that looks completely different six months later.

06

Sensitive data, fragmented tools

Contacts, scores, remediation status and evidence scatter across emails and disconnected tools, with no single source of truth when an incident or audit hits.

The solution

One platform for retail companies third-party risk management

Step 01 of 04

Daily vendor monitoring

Vendor portfolio: every monitored vendor with security score, business criticality, type and status

Track every vendor across 10 risk categories, from network exposure to web application flaws, with scores that update daily instead of once a year.

Automatically discover and classify vendors that were never formally logged, from POS integrators to e-commerce plugins, from detected to managed.

Map what sits behind your direct vendors and how they interconnect: a breach two layers down can hit your storefront as hard as one at your door.

Compare any vendor against your full portfolio to spot which suppliers drag your exposure up, before a regulator or customer does.

Step 02 of 04

Faster supplier onboarding

Adding a vendor: AI-detected third and fourth parties, then a business criticality suggested from peer benchmarks

Build assessment templates around NIS2 and PCI DSS once, then reuse them across every supplier category.

Assess a supplier once, then project the result onto every framework you report on.

Give each vendor a single link to respond, and watch submissions move from sent to completed in real time.

Turn a flagged response into an assigned remediation task in one click, with an owner and due date attached.

Step 03 of 04

Risk mapped to business impact

Risk matrix: vendors by business criticality and security rating, from safer to riskier

Plot each vendor on a matrix combining their security grade with how critical they are, so a packaging supplier never competes with your payment gateway.

Match emerging threats against your vendor list, with intelligence from European and global authorities, to see who is affected within hours.

Get notified when a high-stakes vendor drops a grade, picks up an issue, or a provider you share with others is affected.

Open one view of the vendors combining weak security with high business impact, the ones worth your next hour.

Step 04 of 04

A clearer view of your supplier base

DORA domains breakdown and frameworks readiness matrix for your vendors

Pull NIS2 and PCI DSS-ready reports directly from your vendor data, for an auditor or your board.

Track compliance readiness from a single control set projected across every framework.

Store evidences and certifications in one place, with automatic alerts before any expire.

Give auditors a scoped login that shows exactly what they need, and keep a full record of every assessment and remediation.

Daily score refreshes mean a dropped grade reaches your team within a day, not at the next scheduled review.

Outcomes

Third-party risk management built for retail companies realities.

Cynapze replaces the spreadsheets, the email chains and the once-a-year reviews with a single place to monitor, assess and act on supplier risk across your retail operations.

What is Cynapze?
Cynapze is a third-party risk management platform. It helps organizations monitor, assess, and document the cybersecurity posture of their vendors and suppliers, all from one place.
Who is Cynapze built for?
Cynapze is built for organizations that need to manage vendor risk at scale, from security teams and risk officers to finance leaders who need visibility without becoming security experts.
How is Cynapze different from a spreadsheet or a manual review process?
Manual processes go stale the moment they're finished. Cynapze replaces static, point-in-time reviews with continuous monitoring, structured assessments, and a single record of every vendor's risk over time.
Do I need a security background to use Cynapze?
No. The platform is designed for both technical and non-technical roles, with role-based views that adapt to what each person on your team actually needs to see.
Can Cynapze scale with my vendor portfolio as it grows?
Yes. Whether you're managing a handful of vendors or several dozen, Cynapze is built to add vendors, assign criticality, and track risk without the process breaking down as your portfolio grows.
How long does it take to get started?
After creating your account, a guided setup walks you through completing your company profile, inviting team members, and adding your first vendors. Every step can be skipped and resumed later.
What do I need to add a vendor?
Just the vendor's name and domain to begin monitoring. From there, you can assign criticality, send assessment questionnaires, and build out their full risk profile over time.
Can I invite my team to use the platform?
Yes. Company admins can invite team members and assign them roles that determine what they can see and do within the platform.
What happens after I add a vendor?
Once a vendor is added, you can choose to actively manage them, which triggers ongoing monitoring, lets you send assessment questionnaires, and allows you to track remediation plans tied to their risk profile.
How do I get help if I run into an issue?
A help center with searchable articles and contextual guidance is available directly in the platform, alongside a contact form for direct support requests.
What subscription tiers does Cynapze offer?
Four tiers: Freemium, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each tier increases the number of vendors you can actively manage and the depth and frequency of monitoring data available.
How many vendors can I manage on each tier?
Freemium does not include active vendor management. Silver supports up to 10 managed vendors, Gold up to 25, and Platinum up to 50.
Is there a free trial?
Cynapze does not currently offer a time-limited free trial. The Freemium tier lets you explore the platform with a one-time vendor score, without an ongoing subscription.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed annually. Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately, with the price difference prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Subscription cancellation is handled by our support team rather than through self-service. Reach out and we'll take care of it.
Does Cynapze help with NIS2 compliance?
Yes. Cynapze includes questionnaire templates aligned to NIS2 requirements and gives you the continuous monitoring, documentation, and audit trail needed to demonstrate supplier oversight.
Does Cynapze help with DORA compliance?
Yes. Cynapze covers the ICT third-party risk management pillar of DORA, with continuous monitoring of ICT providers, structured due diligence, and reporting aligned to DORA's documentation expectations.
Does Cynapze cover GDPR requirements?
Cynapze helps you monitor and document the security posture of vendors processing personal data on your behalf, supporting the due diligence expectations under Article 28. It is not a full GDPR compliance management tool.
Can I generate compliance reports directly from Cynapze?
Yes. You can generate reports from your vendor data aligned to the frameworks you work with, ready to share with auditors, regulators, or your own leadership.
Does Cynapze automatically map my vendor data to specific regulatory controls?
Not automatically. Cynapze gives you the structured data, documentation, and audit trail that support your compliance work, but framework-to-control mapping is not an automated feature in the current version.
Where is my data hosted?
Your data is hosted on a SecNumCloud sovereign cloud, the qualification issued by ANSSI, the French national cybersecurity agency, with no dependency on US cloud providers. This reflects a deliberate choice to support data sovereignty for European organizations.
Is Cynapze built with European compliance standards in mind?
Yes. The platform's hosting and infrastructure choices are built around European digital sovereignty principles, reflecting the regulatory environment our customers operate in.
Is my company's data isolated from other Cynapze customers?
Yes. Cynapze is a multi-tenant platform with strict data isolation between companies. Each organization only has access to its own data and the vendors it manages.
Who can see my vendor risk data inside my organization?
Access is role-based. Company admins control which roles can see what, including detailed technical findings, so sensitive data stays restricted to the people who need it.
Where does Cynapze get its security data from?
Cynapze integrates with SecurityScorecard, an established security ratings provider, as its data source. Cynapze adds the layer on top: vendor categorization, risk prioritization, questionnaires, remediation tracking, and reporting.
